Police in Schuylkill County say they’re looking for a “chunky” guy who allegedly threatened another motorist with an axe late last year.
The incident allegedly occurred shortly before 4 p.m. on Dec. 27 at the intersection of Route 61 and Spring St. in Frackville.
At the intersection, the alleged victim of this incident tells police that a white male, about 6 feet tall with a “chunky” build, short dark hair, maybe a little facial hair, and glasses got out of their vehicle and approached his holding an axe in the air.
Previously, as the victim was traveling north on Route 61 in New Castle Township, the same suspect was allegedly waving that axe out the window of his vehicle as he drove behind the victim.
After the incident at the intersection in Frackville, the suspect fled in an unknown direction in a white Kia SUV. The victim says he fled to a safe location.
Anyone with information about this incident is being asked to call State Police-Frackville at 570-874-5300 and reference Incident No. PA2025-1600205.
