A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a Schuylkill County man accused of throwing a flip-flop at a woman and then throwing the woman during a domestic altercation.
Police in Minersville say they were called to a home in the 400 block of North St. in the borough at about 11 p.m. on Christmas.
At the scene, police say they found a woman sitting on the ground outside. The woman, police say, was upset and crying. She had a swollen eye.
The woman told police that Modesto Feliciano, 31, of Minersville, had thrown a flip-flop at her, hitting her in the face. He then allegedly picked her up and threw her, causing a red mark on her neck and scuffing her knee.
Police have charged Feliciano with a misdemeanor count of simple assault and a summary count of harassment. A warrant has been issued for Feliciano’s arrest.
