Schuylkill County Commissioners unanimously voted Jan. 14 to approve the 2026 executive and advisory board members for the Schuylkill County Fire Chiefs’ Association.
The move endorses the leadership slate responsible for coordinating fire service advisory roles within the county for the coming year.
Frank Zangari, of Girardville, was confirmed as the Chairman of the Executive Board. Joining Zangari on the Executive Board for 2026 are:
- Robert Leshko (McAdoo)
- Dave Sattizahn (Pine Grove)
- John Blickley (Frackville)
- Gary Witmier (Pottsville)
- Scott Krater (Port Carbon)
Commissioners also approved five members to the association’s Advisory Board:
- Jack Messner (Pottsville)
- John Kellman (Minersville)
- Art Connely (Tamaqua)
- Ronald Radel (Sacramento)
- John Matz (Deer Lake-W. Brunswick)
