Police: Schuylkill County Man Intentionally Rammed Step-son’s Truck with His Truck

Feaser charged with attempted aggravated assault by vehicle

A Schuylkill County man is facing a charge of attempted vehicular aggravated assault after he allegedly used his truck to intentionally ram his step-son’s truck earlier this month.

State Police say Nathan Feaser, 46, of Wayne Township, was in his Ford F350 driving east on Long Run Rd. (Route 443) when he saw his step-son traveling on the same road in his pickup truck.

Feaser allegedly made a U-turn to get behind his step-son’s vehicle. And as the step-son attempted to make a right turn onto Sweet Arrow Lake Rd., Feaser allegedly used his truck and rammed it into the rear of his step-son’s vehicle.

The step-son continued on to Sweet Arrow Lake Rd. to get away from the situation until he could pull off the road into a parking lot and call 9-1-1, police say.

Police say the damage to the step-son’s vehicle is more than $1,000.

An initial search for Feaser came up empty but court records show Feaser was arraigned on Jan. 8 before Magisterial District Judge Christian Lengel on a felony count of attempted aggravated assault by vehicle, misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment and simple assault, and several summary offenses.

Lengel set bail at 10% of $30,000, which was posted the same day. A preliminary hearing before Lengel is scheduled for Feb. 12.
