It’s Furiday Friends on Coal Region Canary!
Each week, we partner with Hillside SPCA to share the stories of pets who deserve a second chance … but this week’s feature is different.
This week, we introduce Ori, a 5-year-old tabby whose courage and sweetness make her one of the most extraordinary cats we’ve ever featured.
Ori has no eyes, but she sees the world in a way many of us never will. Despite the challenges she’s faced, she is not short on affection. In fact, she leans into love with her whole heart. She navigates her world with bravery, listens for your footsteps, learns your voice, and melts into every gentle pet and chin scratch she receives.
Ori needs a very special person: someone patient, steady, compassionate. Someone who understands that her world is different, but her capacity for bonding is enormous. She’s ready to give everything she has to the person who gives her safety and belonging.
This remarkable girl has already overcome so much. Now she just needs a home where she finally gets to rest, trust, and be adored. Ori may not have sight, but she will absolutely change the way you see love.
