The first-ever Schuylkill Stampede is this Saturday.
Schuylkill Stampede is being held at Schuylkill County Fairgrounds near Summit Station. Gates to the fairgrounds open at 1 p.m. and the main event rodeo begins at 5 p.m. and runs until 7 p.m.
There will be plenty of retail and food vendors as well as live music all day and night.
Live music performances by Cody Wiley, Coal Fired Ramblers, Bill McGowan, and Jeremiah James and The Revival are scheduled from the time gates open until the event closes at 9 p.m.
A petting zoo will be open from 1-5 p.m.
Mechanical bull riding is scheduled from 1-6 p.m. with the competition round set for 4-5 p.m.

Stampede Tickets
Tickets for Schuylkill Stampede are still available.
General Admission tickets for adults (13+) are $10. That gets you entrance to the fairgrounds but not the rodeo event. Children (6-12) are $3 and (5-and-under) are free.
General Admission + Rodeo tickets are $25 for adults, $12 for children (6-12) and free for kids 5 and under.
A VIP Rodeo Experience ticket gets you access to the fairgrounds and rodeo, reserved preferred seating, entrance to the VIP tent with draft beer, a buffet dinner, and Stampede swag. That ticket costs $65 for all ages.

Rodeo and Barrel Racing
The main event at Schuylkill Stampede, of course, is the rodeo, which begins at 5 p.m.
The Schuylkill Stampede rodeo is organized and run by Redeye Rodeo, of Lebanon.
