The Schuylkill County woman accused of pooping outside and inside a District Courtroom back in August appeared before a Magistrate Judge last week.
Shirl Moody, 61, of McAdoo, waived her right to a preliminary hearing on Oct. 2 before Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker.
Moody’s case had to be moved to the District Court in Shenandoah because Judge Edward Tarantelli and a member of his staff were prepared to be called as witnesses.
The charges of institutional vandalism, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, and scattering rubbish were waived to Schuylkill County Court of Common Pleas.
Back on Aug. 20, Moody allegedly hiked up her dress outside the entrance to Tarantelli’s courtroom building in Butler Township and defecated on the ground. Some of the fecal matter was on the exterior wall of the building, too.
Inside, police allege that Moody had also moved her bowels inside the lobby of the District Court building and informed no one that she was suffering from any sort of medical situation that may have caused her to release anywhere other than the public restroom there.
