Catherine Bach, the woman who played Daisy Duke on The Dukes of Hazzard, will headline the 2025 Great Pottsville Car Show next weekend.
Bach, 71, will be joined by fellow Dukes stars Tom Wopat, who played Luke Duke, and Jeff Altman, who portrayed Hughie Hogg, at the annual car show in the city.
The Great Pottsville Car Show takes place from 12-5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 9 at Humane Fire Co. at Third St. and Laurel Blvd.
Wopat and Altman will actually be in Schuylkill County a day earlier, appearing at Big Diamond Raceway, signing autographs from 5:30-7 p.m. Wopat is expected to sing the National Anthem to open racing action that night.
This will be Bach’s first appearance at the Great Pottsville Car Show. Wopat is making his third appearance in Schuylkill County and this will be Altman’s second.
The Dukes stars will be at the car show on Saturday and are making themselves available for photos and autographs. Signed photos of the stars will be available for $20 each. To get a photo with Bach, Wopat, and Altman plus all three autographs will cost $75.
Due to ongoing renovations at Humane Fire Co., the celebrities will have tents set up in the parking lot of Schuylkill County Adult Probation next door. A merchandise tent stocked by Cooter’s Place, a Dukes-themed museum and gift shop based in Luray, VA, will also be on hand.
Registration ($20) for the Great Pottsville Car Show will be held the day of the event. There is no pre-registration this year. Those wishing to register their vehicle for the show should enter at 7th St. and Laurel Blvd.

Food trucks like The Messy Pig, Mr. Yum Yum, Main Street Moonshine, Popcorn by Joe, and Famous Fries will be on hand during the event. Live entertainment will be provided by several DJs as well as a performance by the band Solid Gold from 2-5 p.m.
