Iris is a 7-year-old bulldog mix with a soulful gaze and a heart that’s been waiting at Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA for several years to find her forever home. She’s a one-of-a-kind gal who prefers to be the queen of her castle. That means no cats, no dogs, and older children only, please.
Despite her long stay, Iris hasn’t lost her charm. She’s sweet, sturdy, and full of quiet affection for the humans who earn her trust. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s ready to soak up love and sunshine, Iris is your girl.

Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA is a no-kill shelter serving Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania. Their mission is to protect animal welfare through compassionate medical care, spay/neuter advocacy, and promoting suitable adoptions. They are dedicated to the humane treatment of all domestic animals and never euthanize merely for lack of space or time limits.
