Police in Minersville have obtained an arrest warrant for a woman known as “Poo Poo” following an alleged assault earlier this month.
At about 8:30 p.m. on March 18, police say they were called to the 300 block of North St. in the borough for a reported assault. Upon their arrival, police say they spoke with the victim of the alleged assault whose face was covered in blood, swollen, and bruised.
The victim reportedly told police that a woman who goes by the name “Poo Poo” – identified as Griselle Lee, 30, of Minersville – exited a black minivan, walked up to her and began punching her.
After the victim fell to the ground, Lee continued the assault, she said. Lee got back in the van and fled the scene before police arrived.
A witness at the scene reportedly confirmed the victim’s account of what happened to police. Both were able to confirm Lee’s identity through a photo shown to them by police.
The victim, after being released from the hospital, reports have sustained fractures to her cheek and nose as well as bruising.
Lee is wanted on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, harassment, and disorderly conduct.
