A Schuylkill County woman was jailed Wednesday afternoon after police say she stripped off her clothing in public, exposing herself to motorists, and then kicked a State Trooper in the face.
State Police say they responded to N. Tulpehocken and Birch streets in Pine Grove shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday. At the scene, police say they saw a woman removing her clothing and walking in the roadway.
The woman – identified as 38-year-old Elizabeth Gibson, of Pine Grove – was exposing her genitals to passing motorists.
Police say they attempted to place Gibson into custody but she resisted. During that struggle, police say Gibson kicked a trooper in the face.
Eventually, Gibson was placed in the patrol vehicle. Inside, police say Gibson urinated several times.
Gibson was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Christian Lengel, who set bail at $25,000 and remanded her to Schuylkill County Prison.
