Fresh off their stellar showing at the PA Farm Show, the Walk In Art Center Fiber Arts Guild’s “BAAAhd Girls” and “BAAAhd Company” sheep-to-shawl teams are excited to share their love of fiber arts with the community.
The teams are officially celebrating “FIBERuary” at the Walk In Art Center with a month full of classes and events designed to help you develop new skills or rediscover long-forgotten hobbies.
Throughout the month, members of the Fiber Arts Guild will host interactive demonstrations and a variety of classes, including:
- Beginning Embroidery
- Wooly Trees and Dorset Buttons
- Knitted Mitts, Trivets, and Cable Classes
- Intro to Spinning on Drop Spindle, wool and or flax on a wheel
- Peg Loom Coasters and 3D Wet Felting
- Friendship Bracelets and Basket Making
- Penny Rugs (decorative mats to utilize scraps of wool or felt from old clothing. The scraps were cut into three different sized circles and placed on top of one another from largest to smallest.)
- Yoga for Fiber Artists
