US Marshals Service in Philadelphia announced the arrest of a Schuylkill County man Thursday for his alleged connection to a shooting in Reading over the weekend.
Roylin Cabral-Villa, 18, was apprehended by authorities in Girardville on Thursday.
Cabral-Villa is a suspect in a non-fatal double shooting at a privately-run basketball tournament at a rec center on Feb. 1 in Reading.
Two people were shot during the incident, including a 12-year-old.
Court records show Cabral-Villa was arraigned Thursday morning before Magisterial District Judge Priscilla Campos in Berks County.
He’s been charged with two first-degree felony counts of aggravated assault, and third-degree felony counts of risking catastrophe, participating in a riot while possessing a gun, and illegal gun possession. Cabral-Villa has also been charged with three misdemeanor counts of reckless endangerment.
Campos set bail at $200,000 and Cabral-Villa was remanded to Berks County Prison.
