Axel is a 6-year-old male German Shepherd who came to Char-Wills from West Virginia after being removed from a neglectful situation. Despite his past, Axel shows a thoughtful and gentle nature.
When you first spend time with him, it’s clear that Axel likes to understand his surroundings. He often trots the perimeter of the fence, taking everything in before choosing to interact.
Once Axel is ready to play, his personality shines. He gallops over with a big smile and an easygoing spirit.
Axel is a calm, big fellow with a steady presence and a kind heart. He’s ready to turn the page and start a new chapter with someone who will give him the care and stability he deserves.
