It’s Furiday Friends on Coal Region Canary!
Each week, we share the story of a pet who deserves a real chance at a forever home.
This week’s featured friend is Taji, a 1½-year-old Lab and pit mix whose life started with heartbreak but is full of promise.
When Taji was just six months old, she was abandoned alone inside an apartment. Left behind without explanation, she waited until help finally came.
That early experience shaped her, and while he is making great progress, it explains why she can be a little leery around men at first. With patience and consistency, she continues to improve every day.
Despite that rough beginning, Taji is an incredible dog. She is full of energy, loves to move, and thrives with activity. She does well with both cats and dogs, sits on command, and has strong recall skills.
Taji wants to engage, learn, and connect. She is the kind of dog who just needs someone willing to show her that people do not always leave.
Taji is ready for a home that understands her past and believes in his future. Give her stability, love, and time, and she will show you just how loyal and devoted she can be.
