It’s Furiday Friends on Coal Region Canary!
Each week, we spotlight a pet who is still waiting for the one thing they want most. A home.
This week’s featured friend is Dunkin, a 7-year-old tabby who has been overlooked at Hillside SPCA for too long.
Dunkin came to Hillside as a stray.
He is extremely friendly, enjoys being held, and seems to get along with everyone he meets.
He is playful, affectionate, and eager for attention, as if he is always hoping this might be the day someone finally takes him home.
When he is not asking for cuddles, Dunkin can often be found watching squirrels from the window or entertaining himself with playtime. He is the kind of cat who would happily fill a home with warmth and companionship.
Dunkin deserves more than a spot in a shelter condo. He deserves a couch, a window, a pair of arms to curl into, and a family who will never make him wait again.
