While snow accumulation looks light, the timing could make for a slippery Tuesday morning commute in some areas before temperatures rise and winds kick up Tuesday night.

Higher Terrain & Northern Locations
(Ashland, Barnesville, Delano, Frackville, Gilberton, Girardville, Gordon, Lavelle, Mahanoy City, McAdoo, Ringtown, Shenandoah, Sheppton, Zion Grove)
- Precipitation: Less than 1″ snow; trace to less than 0.1″ ice.
- Monday Night: Light snow is likely mainly between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. Low around 27.
- Tuesday: Snow showers and freezing rain likely before 10 a.m., transitioning to a chance of rain or snow showers in the afternoon. High near 38.
- Tuesday Night (Winds): Mostly cloudy with a low around 31. Winds will be from the west at 7 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 28 mph.
Valley, Central & Southern Locations

- Monday Night: Light snow is likely mainly between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m. Low around 28.
- Tuesday: Snow showers, sleet and freezing rain likely before 10 a.m., changing to plain rain showers by midday. High near 42.
- Tuesday Night (Winds): Mostly cloudy with a low around 33. Winds will be from the west at 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph.
