Power Outages Reported Across Schuylkill County

Strong winds across Schuylkill County on Friday caused widespread power outages. Thousands of PPL Electric customers in the area lost power at some point through the day.

As of 1 a.m. Saturday, there were still more than 1,700 PPL Electric customers, homes and businesses, without power.

Here is a look at the outage numbers by municipality, as reported by PPL Electric at 1 a.m. Saturday:
