In this Q&A, Orndorff discusses the inspiration behind the salon and its signature treatments.
What inspired you to start this business, and how did your personal journey lead you here?
Wild+Rooted came to fruition because I felt it was time to take the next step in my career. I had grown so much as a stylist that it became evident it was time for me to expand my horizons, to which Wild+Rooted was created. It was a dream I wasn’t sure I was ready for, but quickly learned it was everything I needed.
What unique products or services do you offer that can’t be found elsewhere in our community?
We carry a variety of Davines products and select Aveda products for customers to purchase. We also offer a Wild+Rooted Treatment in both our Salon and Spa. Both treatments are customized entirely to our clients’ needs. Do either Wild+Rooted Treatment individually or schedule both for the ultimate relaxation.
How does your business contribute to the local community or participate in community events?
Every year since we have opened we host a vendor event where we invite multiple local businesses to join us. We also donate to multiple organizations throughout the year as well.
What do you want customers to experience when they interact with your business?
We want our clients to feel that they are our number one priority. We strive to make Wild+Rooted a welcoming atmosphere to all. A place you can come relax, decompress, and escape life for a little bit.
Why should someone consider visiting or patronizing your business during the holiday season?
The entire month of December all Liter bottles of Shampoo and Conditioner are 20% off. This will keep customers stocked for a year! All products will be 20% off from December 8th to the 13th. Our Final Holiday Gift Certificate Sale will be December 18th to 20th.
