Schuylkill County Man Gets 12+ Years in Federal Prison for Meth, Coke Trafficking

Villot-Ortiz sentenced Friday

A Schuylkill County man will spend more than 12 years in federal prison for selling methamphetamine and cocaine.

According to the US Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Pedro Villot-Ortiz, 26, of Shenandoah, was sentenced to 151 months in prison Friday by US District Judge Karoline Mehalchick. He was found guilty on a charge of possession with intent to distribute controlled substances.

On July 25, agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and State Police executed a search warrant on Villot-Ortiz’ home in Shenandoah. During that raid, authorities found methamphetamine and cocaine that he was selling to customers.

At the time of that raid, Villot-Ortiz was serving probation for two prior drug trafficking convictions.

The FBI, State Police, and Shenandoah Police Dept. conducted the investigation that led to Villot-Ortiz’ arrest.
