Every week, we partner with Hillside SPCA to share the stories of animals waiting for their forever homes.
This week we’re sharing Stormy — a sweet, grieving black cat who recently lost her person and is now searching for a safe, loving home to call her own again.
Stormy is a mature all-black female with a soft heart and a quiet presence. Recently surrendered after her owner passed away, she’s grieving, confused, and trying to make sense of a world that suddenly changed.
Even though she’s scared, Stormy is incredibly sweet. She leans into gentle pets and clearly wants to trust — she just needs someone patient enough to help her feel safe again.
She’s spayed, up to date on her shots, and negative for leukemia and feline AIDS.
Stormy deserves a calm, loving forever home where she can heal, settle in, and rediscover what it feels like to belong.

Visitation and adoption hours are from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. every day of the week.
