A Schuylkill County woman has been jailed on charges that she had a sexual relationship with an underage girl last year.
Tiffany Fisher, 24, of Minersville, has been charged with two counts of felony aggravated indecent assault, one felony count of corruption of minors, and a misdemeanor count of indecent assault.
The mother of the minor teen told Frackville Police on Oct. 29, 2024, that she wanted to file a sexual assault report against her son’s girlfriend after she allegedly found inappropriate communications between the girlfriend and her underage daughter.
When the mother first found texts and photos on Sept. 26, 2024, she told police she confronted Fisher and told her the communications must cease. Fisher allegedly placed blame on the minor girl but police say that further messages from Fisher prove that to be untrue. Fisher, police say, initiated the contact with the minor.
Police say that in June of this year, the minor victim in this case agreed to participate in the investigation of Fisher. She and her sister were subjected to a forensic interview at UPMC Child Advocacy Center of Central PA. During those interviews, details of inappropriate sexual contact Fisher had with the minor girl were allegedly revealed.
Fisher also allegedly manipulated her minor victim by making statements such as “love is love” and “your parents can’t do anything about it.”
Fisher was arraigned Wednesday evening before Magisterial District Judge Stephen Bayer. Bayer set bail at $10,000 cash and Fisher was sent to Schuylkill County Prison, pending a preliminary hearing scheduled for Nov. 26.
