A Schuylkill County woman is facing charges after she allegedly tried running over a man with her vehicle.
State Police say they were called to a home along Red Dale Rd. in West Brunswick Township on the evening of Oct. 15. Police say they arrived on the scene at about 6 p.m. and spoke with a man who said Michele Bosack, 60, tried running him over with her vehicle.
The victim said that Bosack was on his property and refusing to leave. At this time, a DoorDash driver had arrived on scene to deliver him some food.
Bosack allegedly walked up to the driver’s vehicle and started kicking it and trying to open the door.
The victim said he continually told Bosack that she needed to leave.
After the victim was able to get his food from the DoorDash driver and walk back toward his home, he said Bosack got in her vehicle, started it up, and revved the engine.
The victim reportedly told police that he heard the rear tires of Bosack’s vehicle spinning in the gravel of the driveway. Once again, the engine revved and Bosack then sped her vehicle toward him. He said he jumped out of the way to avoid getting hit by the vehicle.
Bosack then allegedly did a U-turn in the yard and left the property.
A short time later, police say they spoke with Bosack at her home. After telling Bosack that they had video of her nearly trying to run down the victim, she reportedly told police, “Yeah, you’re right. I tried to (bleeping) run him over.”
Bosack has been charged with attempted aggravated assault, a felony, and misdemeanor charges of reckless endangerment, attempted simple assault, and defiant trespass, along with a summary charge of criminal mischief.
A warrant has been issued for Bosack’s arrest.
