It’s Furiday Friends on Coal Region Canary! Every week, we team up with Hillside SPCA to share the stories of pets still waiting for their forever homes.
Adoption gives animals like Dreya the chance to feel safe, loved, and finally home for good.
After more than a year at the shelter, this gentle tabby is ready to leave her past behind and find someone who will never leave her side again.
Dreya is a 3- to 4-year-old tabby who’s been waiting far too long for her forever home. She’s been at Hillside SPCA for more than a year, ever since she was abandoned in the shelter’s parking lot.
Despite her rough start, Dreya still has love to give—she enjoys being petted and will happily soak up attention when she’s in the mood.
Sometimes she prefers her alone time, but who doesn’t? Dreya probably just needs a little patience and consistency to realize her next stop really will be her forever home.
She’s up to date on shots and has tested negative for leukemia and feline AIDS—healthy, beautiful, and ready for her second chance.
