The COPD Foundation, in collaboration with Reading Area Community College’s respiratory care program and Lehigh Valley Hospital, is presenting an event to screen people for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
The event will be held Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Lehigh Valley Hospital’s Wall Auditorium (on the third floor), 700 E. Norwegian St., in Pottsville.
Attendees will also learn about the risk factors to developing COPD, symptoms to watch for, and tips for maintaining quality of life with a chronic lung condition. The event is free of charge.
