Business of the Year – Holman & Pitts Law LLC – Christine Holman and Jackie Pitts
Joseph M. Plasko Citizenship Award – Sharon Stokes & Julie Stokes – Stoke’s Ministry & G-Lady’s Food Pantry
“These awards celebrate more than professional success—they recognize the heart and dedication that strengthen our entire community,” said Aimee Dotson, Executive Director of the Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce. “The Chamber is proud to call these honorees our neighbors, colleagues, and friends. The theme of this year’s dinner, ‘Stronger Together,’ reminds us that when one business or individual succeeds, we all succeed. Their achievements shine a light on what makes Tamaqua such a special place to live and work.”
The Chamber is also pleased to welcome Katharina Styerzel, Founder of LeaveYourBoxWithKat Coaching & Consulting, LLC, as this year’s keynote speaker. Known for her inspiring approach to leadership and personal growth, Styerzel will share insights that tie into the evening’s theme of collaboration, resilience, and community strength.
The awards will be presented during the Chamber’s Annual Dinner & Awards Ceremony on Thursday, Oct. 2, at Mountain Valley Golf Course. Cocktail hour begins at 5 p.m., followed by dinner, recognition of the award winners, and a celebration of the Chamber’s members and partners.
This year’s event will highlight the collective strength of the Tamaqua area and the power of community collaboration. Guests will enjoy an evening of networking, recognition, and pride in the progress and partnerships that continue to move the region forward.
