Schuylkill County Fugitive of the Week: Enrique Aleja Ansell Jr.

Failed to appear at Schuylkill County Prison to begin serving a sentence

UPDATE: At the time information was received on Ansell Jr., there was an active, valid bench warrant. However, after this article was published, a Request for Reconsideration was filed asking the court to delay any imposition of the sentence. This request was granted by the courts, according to the DA’s Office. So, Ansell is no longer a fugitive and the bench warrant is no longer active.

The Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office and Schuylkill County Detectives have named Enrique Aleja Ansell Jr. as their Fugitive of the Week.

They’re asking for the public’s help in locating Ansell Jr.. Ansell Jr., 37, is described as standing 5-7 and weighing about 230 pounds.

Authorities say Ansell Jr. is wanted on a bench warrant for failing to appear at a Schuylkill County Prison to begin serving a sentence for DUI (highest rate) and other related charges.

Ansell Jr.’s last known address is 1967 W. Market St. in Pottsville.  

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ansell Jr. or any other fugitive in Schuylkill County, is asked to call the District Attorney’s Office at 570-628-1350, or Schuylkill County Tip Line at 570-624-3988. You may also e-mail tips to dadd@co.schuylkill.pa.us.

Anyone who may see or come in contact with Ansell Jr. is asked to call the Schuylkill County 9-1-1 center. The full list of active bench warrants in Schuylkill County is available by following this link.
