Tamaqua Chamber of Commerce has announced the return of the “For the Love of Tamaqua” Photo Contest.
The contest is open to photographers of all ages and skill levels. They’re invited to get shots of Tamaqua’s “beauty, spirit, and heart” and enter those photos in the contest.

Photo entered into this year’s contest must have been taken between September 2024 and September 1, 2025.
The deadline to submit entries for this year’s contest is Sept. 1. All entries must be submitted via the official online form: https://tamaqua.net/photo-contest-1
Prizes include:
- 1st Place: $100 Visa gift card, cover photo of the 2025 Tamaqua Community Progress Book, and two free tickets to the Chamber’s Annual Dinner
- 2nd Place: $50 Visa gift card
- 3rd Place: $25 Visa gift card
All submissions will be featured in the Tamaqua Community Progress Book, a publication that celebrates the people, places, and businesses in the community.
“The photo contest is one of our favorite ways to showcase how much love and pride our residents have for this community,” Aimee Dotson, Executive Director of the Tamaqua Chamber of Commerce, says. “This contest is all about celebrating the heart and soul of our community. We’re inviting residents to show us what makes Tamaqua special through their own lens—whether it’s a hidden gem, a favorite event, or a simple moment of beauty. Every photo tells a story, and we can’t wait to share Tamaqua’s story through the eyes of those who love it most.”
