A Schuylkill County man has been jailed after being accused of having inappropriate contact with a teenage girl over a messaging app and sharing explicit content with her.
According to court documents, State Police-Frackville were told earlier this year that Jonathan Houser, 36, of Coaldale, was having inappropriate conversations with a teen girl over Snapchat.
During those conversations, Houser allegedly shared a nude photos of his ex-girlfriend with the teen.
Houser also allegedly sent the girl photos of himself in his underwear, just wearing a towel, and of him working out. He also sent videos of a similar nature to the girl using Snapchat.
In addition to the explicit and inappropriate photos, Houser also sent sexually suggestive text messages to the teen, describing how he felt about the way she dressed.
Houser was arraigned last week and charged with a felony count of disseminating explicit material to a minor and misdemeanor counts of unlawful contact with a minor, unlawful dissemination of an intimate image, corruption of minors, and harassment.
He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge James Reiley, who set bail at $25,000 and remanded Houser to Schuylkill County Prison. Houser posted bond the following day and was released. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
