Furiday Friends: Meet Slate and Germ

Our Furiday Friends series continues this week with a high-energy pointer and a loving cat. All three are available for adoption right now at Hillside SPCA in Pottsville.

Let’s meet this week’s crew:

Slate

Slate is a high-energy pointer who’s only about 18 months old.

He came to Hillside emaciated and was removed from a condemned home.

Slate is good with kids and good with other dogs.

He’s up-to-date on his shots and will be neutered before getting adopted.

Germ

Germ is about 2 years old. He came back to Hillside after his original adopter was unable to keep him.

He was very shy at first but he’s opening up to strangers really quickly now. Germ put on a show for us soon after meeting him. He loves telling you how he’s looking to go home with you, so when you meet him, get ready to fall for his high-pressure sales tactics.

Germ lived with cats and dogs so he should be good around both in his new home.

Adopt a Pet at Hillside SPCA

Hillside SPCA is located at 51 SPCA Rd., Pottsville.

Visitation and adoption hours are from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. every day of the week except Wednesday. On Wednesday, you can visit these furry friends and many more from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
