South Schuylkill Garden Club Hosting Educational Bus Tour to Chanticleer and Jenkins Arboretum

The South Schuylkill Garden Club will host an educational bus tour to Chanticleer and Jenkins Arboretum in Wayne, on Thursday, May 15, 2025.

The bus will depart from the Giant parking lot at Cressona Mall at 8 a.m. and return at approximately 6 p.m. The cost of the trip is $75, payable to SSGC. The reservation deadline is April 15, 2025.

Located within 30 minutes of Philadelphia, Chanticleer is considered one of the premier gardens in the region. The tour will take place rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes. Early reservations are recommended, as the bus tends to fill quickly with gardening enthusiasts from the area.
