Located within 30 minutes of Philadelphia, Chanticleer is considered one of the premier gardens in the region. Once the home of the Rosengarten family, Chanticleer is now a colorful, contemporary garden set in a historic landscape. It has been described as the most romantic, imaginative and exciting public garden in America.
The garden emphasizes textures and forms, with foliage often taking center stage over flowers. With more than 15 distinct gardens, along with woodlands and meadows, Chanticleer offers visitors inspiration, relaxation and practical ideas to bring home.
Jenkins Arboretum features a curated collection of native plants, including vibrant azaleas and rhododendrons. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful walk through serene spaces designed to connect people with nature.
The tour will take place rain or shine. Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable walking shoes. Early reservations are recommended, as the bus tends to fill quickly with gardening enthusiasts from the area.
Don’t miss this opportunity to explore two of the region’s most inspiring gardens and gather ideas to enhance your own backyard.
