Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce recently celebrated the opening and rebranding of Lord Ebling Haus Funeral Home & Crematory in Pottsville.
The business, located at 1818 Mahantongo St., was previously known as Lord Bixler Funeral Home. The rebranding marks an expansion of the Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, which has locations in Cressona and Schuylkill Haven.
The non-denominational funeral home offers traditional funeral services, cremation, memorial services, all-natural burial services, and other personalized arrangements.

“Andy and I are so excited to expand up here to Pottsville,” says co-owner Caitlyn Haus, speaking of herself and husband, Andrew. “This is a great move for all of us.”
The couple purchased Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home from her parents in 2023.
“This is a momentous occasion, not just for our company but for the community that we are privileged to serve,” Andrew said at a recent ribbon cutting hosted by Schuylkill Chamber.

Andrew thanked the company’s staff for their help in the expansion of the business, in particular, William Pugh, who will serve as supervisor at the Pottsville location, and Terry Bixler, who stays on as funeral director. Bixler was the previous owner of Lord Bixler Funeral Home.
