Walk In Art Center Adds Day to Fiber Arts Studio Availability

The Walk In Art Center’s Fiber Arts Guild has opened up the Fiber Arts Studio to the public another day of the week. 

Currently, the Fiber Arts Studio is open Tuesdays and Thursdays. Members of the Fiber Arts Guild will be adding another day to the weekly schedule, Wednesdays.  The hours of operation will be 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Come to the Walk In Art Center any Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday during operating hours and learn how to weave or spin fiber. 

The Fiber Arts Studio has 12 looms and 6 spinning wheels in operation. The studio is staffed by knowledgeable volunteers under the direction of the master weaver and spinner Lorraine Felker. 

A session is $20.00 with a nominal fee for supplies. Come and enjoy the friendly, relaxing atmosphere of the studio. In a few short hours, walk away with an item that you can boast to others by saying that you made this. 

The Fiber Arts Studio can be found on the third-floor gallery area of the Walk In Art Cente, 2220 Parkway, Schuylkill Haven.
