A Shenandoah man remains wanted by police after an alleged domestic assault earlier this month.
According to an affidvait filed by State Police-Frackville, Logan Forrest, 18, was unable to be located when they learned of his alleged assault of a woman back on the afternoon of Jan. 5.
Police were dispatched to a home in Shenandoah for a reported domestic assault. Upon speaking with the victim of this reported assault, they learned that Forrest was mad that his ex-girlfriend was moving out and began throwing her clothes all over the bedroom.
Forrest then allegedly started choking his victim. He let go but then started shoving her toward the stairs and then grabbed her by the throat again. When the victim went back to collect her belongings, Forrest allegedly grabbed the woman by the hair and pushed her into a dresser.
When the woman began to phone police, Forrest ran from the scene. He’s being charged with strangulation and simple assault, both misdemeanors, and a summary offense of harassment.
