A Schuylkill County man was recently busted for allegedly peeing in the middle of the street.
According to court papers filed by police in Shenandoah, the incident happened back on Dec. 12. Police say they received a call from someone who spotted a man get out of dark-colored Honda Civic at the intersection of S. Catherine and W. Center streets at about 5 p.m. that day.
The man – later identified as Michael Rush, 38, of Shenandoah – was wearing a gray sweatshirt, black pants and had a beard. That caller said Rush took it out and began peeing on S. Catherine St. The caller also said they had video proof of this evidence.
Police say they reviewed the video evidence and were able to identify the suspect as Rush. Rush’s Probation Officer was also notified and they were able to positively identify Rush as the suspect.
Rush has been charged with open lewdness in connection with this incident. Court records show there are several other active and inactive cases on Rush’s sheet, including charges of retail theft, DUI, assault, and trespassing.
