The City of Pottsville is once again holding a Holiday Home Decorating Contest.
Awards will be given to the homes in the city with the best display of Christmas and holiday cheer. The deadline to enter the 2024 Holiday Home Decorating Contest is Saturday, Dec. 14. All homes within Pottsville city limits is eligible to win.
First-, second-, and third-place winners will be awarded cash prizes. All participants will be given a special Pottsville Maroons 100th Anniversary commemorative ornament. Winners will be chosen based on the use of lights, color, and overall presentation, the City says. Anything from the classic Christmas look to a new age color splash could win prizes.
Homes entering the contest must have their decorations visible from street level. Judging will run from Dec. 16-20. To enter the contest, email cityadministrator@pottsvillepa.gov with your name, phone number, and address.
