Fur-iday Friends: The Time to Get These Pets a Forever Home is Right Now

Let’s get Georgie, Tessa, Onyx, and Annalee a fur-ever home today.

Our Fur-iday Friends series is back to its regular time slot this week and that’s a good thing because we need to find these four creatures a forever home right away.

Have a look at their profiles and please consider bringing them into your home for the holiday season.

Let’s meet this week’s Fur-iday Friends:

Georgie

Georgie is 4 years old. He came to the shelter as a stray. His ear is tipped, so at some point, he was an outside cat.

Georgie is vaccinated, neutered, and up-to-date on his shots and negative for feline AIDS and leukemia.

He’s a friendly boy who gets along with the other cats at Hillside.

Tessa

Tessa is a striking 6 years old. It’s pretty rare for an orange cat to be female, just 1 in 5 are.

She arrived at Hillside because her original owner had cancer and needed to find a new home for her loving cats.

Tessa is spayed, up-to-date on her shots and negative for feline AIDS and leukemia.

She is friendly with the other cats at the shelter and nice to people, but generally just keeps to herself.

Onyx

Onyx is a 7- or 8-year-old pitbull. She was found abandoned in a home before comingi to Hillside.

She might do well with a male dog but probably not a girl. She’s “dog-selective.”

Onyx is a nice dog but needs some time to warm up to people.

Annalee

Annalee is a 4-year-old cattle dog.

She would need to go to a home that has a fenced-in area for her.

Annalee is friendly with other dogs and housebroken but would also need to go to a home with older, respectful kids.
