Our Fur-iday Friends series had to get pushed back a day due to The Canary being busier than ever this week. But there’s never a bad time to meet the cats and dogs looking for a new best friend … that being you.
Let’s meet this week’s Fur-iday Friends:
Eddie Munster
Eddie Munster is a Shepherd mix and about 2 years old.
He came to the shelter as a stray. He’s neutered and up-to-date on his shots.
Eddie can be shy with new people but warms up rather quickly to them. He’s great with other dogs and is very playful.
Eddie has been cat-tested and would be fine in a home with feline friends. He would be best in a home with respectful younger children.
Cocoa
Cocoa is a German short-hair pointer and about 4 years old.
He’s scared of new people and needs a little time to warm up to a stranger. He’s neutered and up-to-date on his shots.
Cocoa is good with other dogs and would be an ideal fit in a home with children over the age of 10 because he can be a bit rambunctious. He’ll need a patient adopter.
Drea
Drea is a beautiful Torbie and about 2-3 years old. She’s up-to-date on her shots, spayed, and negative for FIV and leukemia.
Drea is really talkative and very friendly. She is great with other cats, too.
Pinky
Pinky has been at Hillside for about 3 years but her age is unknown. She’s spayed, up-to-date on her shots and negative for FIV and leukemia.
Pinky is friendly but likes to be alone, more than anything, and would be most comfortable in a quiet house.
Adopt a Pet at Hillside SPCA
Hillside SPCA is located at 51 SPCA Rd., Pottsville.
Visitation and adoption hours are from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. every day of the week except Wednesday. On Wednesday, you can visit these furry friends and many more from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m.
