Schuylkill County Fugitive of the Week: Christopher Berrios

Failed to appear for prison sentence, jury selection

The Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office and Schuylkill County Detectives have named Christopher Berrios as their Fugitive of the Week.

They’re asking for the public’s help in locating Berrios.

Berrios, 31, is identified as a white, Hispanic male. He’s 5-5 and weighs about 165 pounds. There are two active bench warrants for Berrios.

Authorities say Berrios failed to appear at Schuylkill County Prison on Aug. 31 to begin serving a sentence on charges of aggravated cruelty to animals, and neglect of animals.

He also failed to appear at Schuylkill County Courthouse on Sept. 3 for jury selection in his trial for DUI with a suspended license.

Berrios’ last known address 215 S. Morris St., Saint Clair.  

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Berrios or any other fugitive in Schuylkill County, is asked to call the District Attorney’s Office at 570-628-1350, or Schuylkill County Tip Line at 570-624-3988. You may also e-mail tips to dadd@co.schuylkill.pa.us.

Anyone who may see or come in contact with Berrios is asked to call the Schuylkill County 9-1-1 Center immediately.
