Fur-iday Friends: These Loving Pets Need a Fur-ever Home ASAP

Let’s get Jimmy, Neville, Emma, and Patty a fur-ever home ASAP.

Illness and a special assignment prevented us from visiting our friends at Hillside SPCA recently but we couldn’t let it go any longer.

We’re back with a new crop of Fur-iday Friends this week and these loving creatures are looking to you to open your door to their new fur-ever home.

Let’s meet this week’s Fur-iday Friends:

Jimmy

Jimmy is one of our favorites at Hillside. He can be a bit shy at first but will quickly become your best friend with just a little attention. Jimmy loves showing off for the camera.

He’s neutered, up-to-date on shots and FelV/FIV negative. Jimmy’s a little over a year old. He’s a pretty mellow guy, great with other cats and kids. Dogs and Jimmy likely wouldn’t be a good combination.

Neville

Neville came to Hillside as a stray.

He’s between 1-2 years old and is neutered, up-to-date on his shots and is negative for FIV and leukemia.

Neville likes to keep to himself and should be in a calmer home without dogs. He’s great with other cats but probably wouldn’t do well around kids.

Emma

Emma is a 13-year-old pitbull in need of a truly special fur-ever home.

She’s got herself a fair share of health issues and anyone who chooses to adopt Emma must realize that it’ll be a hospice situation due to her liver failure.

She’s not good with other dogs but does get along with cats, kids, and strangers.

Patty

Patty is a 7-year-old pitbull. She has a moderate activity level who is house-trained.

She is not good with cats or other dogs. Patty will need some time to warm up to strangers. Typically, a few treats for her and she’ll get better around a stranger.

She was bred during every heat cycle she’s experienced and came to the shelter with a litter of puppies
