Pet Adoptions

Fur-iday Friends on a Monday?

Let’s get Pork Chop, Calvin, Julio, and Poppy a new fur-ever home today.

It’s Friday … wait a minute … no, it’s Monday.

Due to some technical work we’ve been doing to the site over the weekend, our regular Fur-iday Friends feature had to get bumped back a few days. But we couldn’t let these fun creatures wait another minute to be introduced to you, their new best friend.

Let’s make today (whatever day you’re reading this) the day they call yours their new fur-ever home.

Here are LAST week’s Fur-iday Friends:

Pork Chop

Pork Chop is about 5 years old and a pit mix.

She’s good with other dogs and good with cats and loves children.

Pork Chop is house trained, pretty mellow, and loves walks.

Calvin

Calvin came to the shelter as a “stray.”

He’s housebroken and friendly with everyone he meets, including our camera. He’d make a great addition to a family as an only pet.

Calvin will need an active family because he needs lots of exercise. He also needs a secure crate or someone who’s home more often than not.

Julio

Julio is a neutered male who generally keeps to himself but definitely loves attention from anyone willing to give him that.

Julio put on quite a show for our camera during a recent visit to the shelter. Maybe that’s because we were dishing out treats?

He’s vaccinated and FIV- and leukemia-free.

Poppy

Poppy is about 2 years old. She’s a spayed female who is vaccinated and free from FIV and leukemia.

She’s very friendly with people and other cats.

Poppy is another one that just loves attention from anyone that’ll pay her any bit of it.
