Warming Up to the Holiday

A return to summertime heat is right around the corner.

We’re warming up to America’s big day on Thursday.

Expect a slightly warmer day today that it was on Monday and Tuesday but after this, we can expect things to really heat up once again.

After today, we’re looking at highs inching toward 90 for the rest of the 7-day forecast.

Sadly, there isn’t much rain in this forecast either.

Here’s the latest 7-day forecast for Pottsville from National Weather Service …

Thursday Night 🌧️⚡: Evening may see continued showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 2am under mostly cloudy skies. The low will be around 69° with light and variable winds. Precipitation probability is 40%, with similar rainfall expectations as during the day.

Friday 🌤️🌧️: The day might start dry but watch for a chance of showers and thunderstorms ramping up after 11am. It’ll be partly sunny with a high near 89°. There’s a 30% chance of precipitation, with potential for heavier bursts in thunderstorms.

Friday Night 🌧️⚡: Showers and thunderstorms are more likely, under mostly cloudy skies and a low around 70°. The chance of rain increases to 50%.
