A Pottsville man was sentenced to 7 years in federal prison for his role in a 2020 home invasion robbery in Mahanoy City.
According to the US Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Pennsylvania, Joshua March, 29, was sentenced Monday in Scranton to 84 months in prison.
March pleaded guilty to a single count of conspiracy to interfere with commerce by robbery.
By pleading guilty, March admits that he took part in an armed home invasion in Mahanoy City on Aug. 30, 2020.
Marsh, along with co-conspirators Joushton Rodriguez and Solomon Rodriguez entered the victim’s home and stole a lockbox that authorities say contained money gained from drug sales.
All three wore masks during the robbery. Joushton Rodriguez was armed with what the US Attorney’s Office calls a “homemade AR-15 style machine gun.”
The ringleader of this armed robbery group were recruited through the Schuylkill County division of the Infamous Ryders Motorcycle Club. The ringleader, Steven Wong, and Solomon Rodriguez, were just convicted by a federal jury on similar charges on June 21.
An investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF), Pennsylvania State Police, Mahanoy City Police Department, Schuylkill Haven Police Department, Pottsville Police Department, Shillington Police Department, Reading Police Department, and the Lehigh County District Attorney’s Office all culminated in charges being filed against Marsh and others.
