Another Scorcher Today as Heat Wave Continues

The week-long heat wave continues for Schuylkill County with temperatures expected to climb into the mid-90s once again on Saturday and Sunday.

Good news for people who aren’t real big fans of this kind of heat comes next week. There are at least a few days in the forecast with high temps in the low-80s.

But there is another 90+ degree day in there as well.

Here’s the latest 7-day forecast for Pottsville from National Weather Service …

Sunday: 🌤⛈️ A chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. Partly sunny and hot, with a high near 92. Light southwest wind increasing to 5 to 9 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. *HEAT ADVISORY*
