Shot Allegedly Fired During Road Rage Incident in Schuylkill County

Police asking for anyone with information to come forward.

Police are investigating a road rage incident that allegedly happened on Tuesday in Schuylkill County.

According to State Police-Schuylkill Haven, the incident was reported to have happened on Schuylkill Mountain Rd., west of Berne Rd., in South Manheim Township, at about 2:30 p.m. on May 28.

A 17-year-old Pottsville male told police that a black 2020s BMW SUV pulled up next to him and allegedly fired a handgun in the direction of his vehicle.

The driver of the SUV is described as a white male in his 30s.

Police are asking anyone in that area with information about this incident to call the State Police-Schuylkill Haven barracks at 570-593-2000.
