The recall affects the supermarket chain’s Happy Farms Whipped Cream Cheese Spread, Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread, Cream Cheese Spread, and Strawberry Cream Cheese Spread.
The products subject to recall are packaged in 8 oz. cups and distributed in select Aldi stores across numerous states, including Pennsylvania. Aldi stores frequented by Schuylkill County shoppers are located just outside Pottsville and Hamburg.
The specific details of the recalled products are as follows:
- Whipped Cream Cheese Spread: UPC 4099100101881, with sell-by dates ranging from August 30, 2024, to September 4, 2024.
- Chive & Onion Cream Cheese Spread: UPC 4099100101751, with sell-by dates of September 13, 2024, and September 22, 2024.
- Cream Cheese Spread: UPC 4099100101737, with sell-by dates of September 1, 8, and 15, 2024.
- Strawberry Cream Cheese Spread: UPC 4099100101744, with sell-by dates of September 8 and 15, 2024.
Aldi has taken this precautionary step to ensure the safety and integrity of its products. Customers in possession of the affected cream cheese are urged to either discard them or return them to their local Aldi store for a full refund.
