The win was Portland’s first of the 2024 Eastern League season. Reading falls to 3-3 with the loss.
Matt Osterberg (0-1) went 5 innings for the Fightins, allowing 6 hits and 3 runs, just 1 earned, while striking out 5 and walking none, taking the loss on the night.
Andrew Schultz allowed 2 runs and a home run in relief for Reading.
