While You Slept, We Got a February Thunderstorm

A 35-degree swing in temperature today. Buckle up!

It was a late night at the Canary newsroom. We’re sitting here working on some captivating content (and watching The Nanny reruns) and there’s a flash of light outside.

And then, some light rumbles.

Is the neighbor and his loud exhaust coming home late? Nope.

It was a thunderstorm!

We check the calendar to make sure we didn’t pass out and wake up in April and it confirms, it’s still February.

Weird, wild stuff.

And it looks like we may be seeing a few more flashes of lighting through the early part of Wednesday, too.

Don’t forget … there’s a Wind Advisory going into effect at 3 p.m. today.
