Schuylkill County is under a Winter Weather Advisory with more snow expected overnight into Saturday morning.
National Weather Service says the Winter Weather Advisory is in effect from 10 p.m. Friday until 7 a.m. Saturday. Snow accumulation of 2-3 inches is possible.
The Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Schuylkill, Dauphin, and Lebanon counties.
Slick travel conditions are possible due to the snow accumulation.
Snow is expected to begin after 8 p.m. Friday. There’s a 100% chance of snow Friday night. It should continue until about 8 a.m. Saturday. Snow showers could persist through 2 p.m. Saturday.
We’re forecast to have a few more windy days, too. Steady northwest wind will be 11-21 mph on Friday, with gusts to 38 mph.
A steady westerly wind between 10-15 mph is expected on Saturday, with gusts to 25 mph. Wind should stay steady on Sunday, too.
