Schuylkill County is under a Winter Weather Advisory starting tonight until Tuesday afternoon.
National Weather Service says the Winter Weather Advisory will extend from 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 15, until noon on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
In the advisory notice, NWS says between 2-4 inches of snow is expected.
This snow accumulation is likely to cause travel issues, with slippery roads. Snow will likely impact the Tuesday morning commute.
Looking ahead, NWS says wind chill factors in the single digits, both positive and negative, on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning could cause health issues, namely frostbite.
Forecasters are also tracking a potential snowstorm later this week.
